Author Guidelines
To follow the submission format of Jurnal Syntax Fusion: Jurnal Nasional Indonesia, please download the official article template available on the journal website and replace its content with your own manuscript.
1. Plagiarism Policy
The journal strictly implements a plagiarism screening process using Turnitin and iThenticate software.
All submitted manuscripts will undergo similarity checks. Manuscripts with a similarity index above 30% will be automatically rejected.
2. Types of Manuscripts
a. Original Articles
Contain original research findings in the fields covered by the journal’s scope (e.g., social sciences, education, humanities, technology, health sciences, business, etc.).
Manuscripts must not exceed 20 pages, including tables and figures, and should be written using Times New Roman 12 pt, single spacing, on A4 paper size, with 3 cm margins on all sides.
b. Review Articles
Provide an analytical and critical overview of a specific topic relevant to the journal’s focus, supported by comprehensive and up-to-date references.
c. Short Communications / Brief Articles
Concise reports on current research, limited to 1500 words and a maximum of 2 tables or figures.
3. Manuscript Structure
The manuscript should be arranged in the following order:

Title

Written in Indonesian, concise, clear, and accurately reflecting the content.

Use Times New Roman 12 pt Bold Capital, single spacing.

Avoid uncommon abbreviations or acronyms.

Author(s)
-
Include the full names (without abbreviation), institutional affiliations, and one corresponding author’s email address.

Abstract and Keywords
-
The abstract must be written in English and Indonesian, each 150–250 words, single-spaced, using Times New Roman 10 pt.

The abstract should summarize the research purpose, methods, results, and conclusions.
-
Include 3–6 keywords in English, separated by commas and arranged alphabetically.

Introduction
-
Include background, literature review (state of the art), research gap, novelty statement, and objectives.
-
Citations should follow the APA 7th edition style, e.g., (Wang, 2016) or (Muttakin et al., 2015).

It is recommended to use reference management tools such as Mendeley.

Research Method
-
Explain the research design, location, population or sample, data collection, and analysis methods.
-
Use declarative sentences; figures must have captions below them.

Results and Discussion
-
Present and interpret research findings clearly and scientifically.

Discuss how results relate to previous studies and theoretical frameworks.

Tables and figures must be embedded in the text after being cited (e.g., see Table 1 or as shown in Figure 2).

Tables must not contain vertical lines, and figures should be of high resolution and legible.

Conclusion
-
Concisely summarize key findings and their implications.

May include recommendations or suggestions for future research.

Acknowledgment (Optional)
-
Express gratitude to funding bodies, institutions, or individuals who contributed to the research.

References

References must consist of at least 80% primary sources (journal articles) published within the last 10 years.

Each manuscript should include at least 10 references.

Follow the APA (7th edition) reference style consistently.

Margins: Top, Bottom, Left, Right = 3 cm

Font: Times New Roman, 12 pt

Columns: One column format

Language: Indonesian or English

Maximum length: 20 pages including tables and figures

Italicize foreign terms in Indonesian manuscripts.
5. Citation and Bibliography Example (APA 7th Edition)
Book:

Journal Article:

6. Copyright and Publication Ethics

Copyright belongs to the authors, with first publication rights granted to Jurnal Syntax Fusion: Jurnal Ilmiah Indonesia.

The journal adheres to the principles of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) regarding publication ethics and malpractice.
